When it comes to an amp acting weird, I would suggest you get it into the shop, and have a qualified tech look it over and figure out what's going on with it.
It sounds like somethings whacky with the internal wiring or something, and you don't want to be inside of an amp, and touch a capacitor and get knocked across the room, whew!
Been there and done that, and it hurts, ouch!
Knocked me 10 feet and burned the crap out of my hand!
Leave the electronics to the techs, please. :^ P
