I have a pre-Ernie Ball Stingray (that I love dearly)

Serial Number is B003907.

Where do you find the neck and body date?

Mapel (Body and neck).

Bought in 1980ish from some chap in Loughton that had a fretless just one serial number on!...I wish I could have afforded the pair!

Any further info you give to this, probably unworthy, lover of early Musicman bases would be much appreciated.

Best Regards

PS: I've found a fretlesss, over Ebay, in Germany (Sabre not Stingray). Serial number is B004692 and I believe it's dated around 1979. Cinsidering buying to appease my regret over the earlier, lack of funds, miss out back in the 80s.
