Lots of good cabs out there... the Goliath and the 4.5 XL are both excellent. I myself use the Bag End Deep Red Q10BX-D. I've been playing six string for about six years now, and the one thing I can tell you is that there's more to tight, punchy B than a good 4x10. Neck scale, pickups, preamps, compressors, parametric EQ and even your touch all contribute.

Other than that, everything that has been mentioned here is great for gear... I've owned the aforementioned Ampeg, Hartke 4.5XL and Peavey (with kevlar impregnated cones, no less) cabs.

: I'm surrently playing a Fender Bassman 100 combo. I bought a Harke 3500 amp and am looking for a 4 x 10 cabinet to compliment it. I need clean clear lows. Looking at Ampeg SVT-410 and Hartke XL. Any other thoughts?

: Thanks!
