okay, i'm also looking to learn slap bass. i'd tried learning and gave up, but heard a band that made me want to play more than anything. i don't know what they offer for teaching you how, but to hear the best slap bassist in (my opinion) the world....check out Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.....the bassist also has some solo/side project stuff, so check out victor wooten. if they offer any videos...they've gotta be good cause vic's the best there is.
