: Hi everybody
: We're starting a band and we want to play Rage Against the Machine & Audioslave covers. I have no problem with the basslines but I don't what kind of effect does Tim use on songs like "Bulls On Parade" or "Audioslave". I think it's some kind of harmonyzer or octaver, but I`m not sure... Does anybody know what I`m talking about? Any help will be great:o)

He uses a marshall guvner pedal a guitar 1. he also uses wah, and mix's it up on songs like 'calm like a bomb' . for 'cochise' u wana use a punchy distortion. a good thing to do is to mess around with the bass n treble while using the guvner to get the right sound. another way to sound like tim is to get a fender jazz baby they rock. 'bulls on parade is jst the same . remember to mess around with amp settings.
