Hey man...

Well, needless to say, it would be easier to show you than to tell you. Vic's style is really advanced...probably the most advanced...in terms of slap style. A lot of what he does involves the right and left hand.

You might like to try the following techniques...any of these might give you the result you want:

-Hammer-on with left hand, then thumb mute, then pluck
-Double-thumb, then pluck
-Open string thumb, then left-hand mute, then thumb mute, then pluck
-Thumb, then back thumb (so that the string comes back out and then back so that it hits the fingerboard), then pluck

This is the way I learned it. Others might have better ways of wording it than I did, but I hope this gives you an idea.
