: Recently I've been playing quite a lot and it's been great. I've been looking for a new bass and everything.
: But now I met this gorgeous woman and it's all I can think about. I don't want it to go like with a friend of mine who was really talented and then let it all go when finding a companion. I'm not saying that I'm really talented just that I'd like to keep up my playing. Well, I just had to get this off my chest.

Dave, you met a gorgeous woman and that's all you can think about?

Good!

If you didn't, you wouldn't be normal. As for the woman pulling you away from
music, she can only do that if you let her, although women do seem to be born
with a key to the lock of a man's resistance.(some of them anyway) Relationships
can be euphoric, especially in the beginning. Go for this lady; enjoy every
second you can with her. If it works out, great! If it doesn't, your wooden
friend will be there waiting for you. How do you think most love songs get
written? Good luck to you and your new lady friend; I hope it works out the
way you envision it.
