: : Hi I'm from Australia and we don't get a lot of range of amps to try out, not the good ones any way. I've got a G&L 2000 and I still cant find a good bass anp that suits it for tone wise. If anybody has a G&L and has found a good amp for it please let me know. Is has got to the stage where I'm thinking of changing basses, I don't know, maybe I'm no good at pulling a good tone out of any amp. Also anybody tried the bass pod, is it any good?

: I am a proud owner of the bass pod from line6. I do not use a bass rig hardly at all anymore beyond my bass pod running into a PA. It's amp choices are very good sounding, in my opinion, with a wide variety of amp heads and speaker cabinet combinations to use. It has especially been a great help with my recording work in studios.
: PAige

Perhaps im just not in the loop with all the effects and all, can someone tell me what a bass pod is..??

thanx,, Rob
