: This may be a stupid question but... I'm still somewhat of a newbie and have been playing a Sebring, a fair quality Korean made P bass copy for a few months. I am very interested in aquiring a hollow body for the sound but am put off by the fact that the used ones that I can afford are short scale instruments. I plan to use both basses and am wondering if I will have much difficulty when switching back and forth. I don't have any trouble during the short time I play anything in a music store but I am concerned about the long haul. Any advice or thoughts are appreciated. TIA - Lee

Lee,
Once you're used to both instruments, you shouldn't have much problem switching between them. :-)

Hope that helps!

-Bob
