: : Hey gang, sorry I haven't been visiting here quite as often lately.
: : Two working bands, (7 gigs in the past two weeks!) plus my growing
: : list of students have been keeping me very busy!...After searching
: : high and low for a nice P-bass, I opted instead for a FERNANDES
: : "Gravity 8" Eight string bass!! The thing is like a HOWITZER!!
: : Makes my 4 strings seem like BB guns!! (more on that later)
: : Anyway, one of the guitarists I play with brought a new Strat
: : to the gig the other nite, made completely from WARMOTH body parts.
: : The thing is VERY nice..Flame maple top, oil finish, Seymour electronics,
: : etc...Very impressive for bolt-together Fender style guitar..
: : Check out their site at www.warmoth.com So many nice combinations
: : of woods, tops, hardware, necks, etc, etc...I may end up building my
: : own!

: : Cheers,
: : Pat H

: Hi Pat!

: The Warmoth site is very informative indeed!

: Welcome to the world of multi-string basses!! I'm a long time fan and player of Hamer's 8 and 12 string basses. The big sounds these monsters make REALLY make you choose what you play wisely....hehe. But on the other hand, if you're playing a 12ver, and the guitarist passes out....who's to know??? LOL

: Best regards,

: Milan

I remember the look of fear on my guitar players face as I opened the case to my seven string....HA. -B
