I've been playing e-bass for a couple of months now using video's and beginner's books. One aspect that isn't covered in any of my books (and I have a lot of them!) is how to play fast descending (or ascending for that matter too) fourths. I just bought Afro-Cuban Grooves for Bass and Drums and in one of the examples (a "Guajira") there are 2 descending fourths, F-C-G (eighth notes), with the G going up to a B flat. Is there a "correct" way to finger this?
