: Places like 'Harmony-Central' and 'Bass Gear Reviews' are great when you're buying gear but after looking at them more closely, one might ask: Are they really as good as they seem? There's the reviews that give a 10 to everything (most cases) and then the other kind that give the opposite. The average review is probably a 9, shouldn't the average be somewhere in the middle of the scale?
: Another thing that bothers me is that the reviews often go way too far from the subject. Sometimes they'll be writing in a pick-up review about how hard it is to move their cabinet 'cuz it's so heavy.
: Of course there is good reviews also. You can give it a 10 if you can explain why it really is so good. Also it's good if the reviewer has had the gear for some time before writing there. Naturally the first impression isn't always the right impression.
: I'm sure all of you on this board know how to write a review, I just needed to get my frustration out.

:: Yeah Dave, sometimes the evaluation of these sites seems so strange!!! Sometimes I think that some reviews are written by someone who´s endorsing a given product :(
Like Blisshead says, we should use them as a "bit of evidence" when looking for an equipment. There´s nothing better than test it by ourselves!!
