: Tim,
: Hmmmm... I've had a chance to try a couple, and they seem to be ok; the Epi Rock Bass and Accu-Bass are the ones where I thought the neck felt cheap...

: The MiM Fenders fell pretty decent (I'm *definitely* not a snob about these things); I've got a Kramer Focus 420S that I'd put up against an MiM Fender, though... :-)

Bob, I s the Kramer Focus 420s a P-bass copy from Music Yo? I think I've seen pic.s on their website.

I have a couple of MIM J bass's( one is fretless), and I suppose that's what I'm used to.

I will confess, that I do have an epi 6 (prototype), which I'm not that impressed with, but used it was cheap enough.
That's probably the only reason I have a 6 as well. I have also pbayed their
EB copies.. and to me they feel about the the LP bass, but the neck glaze feels better.
ANYHOW, they must be doing some good, they're still in business.

BTW, that reminds me.. Tobias. Kramer, and Steinberger are owned by Gibson and sold through MusicYo. for cheaper than dirt prices.. Gibson also owns Epi... anybody know a reason Gibson doesn't sell Epi through MusicYo as well???
Just curious.

Tim
