: I havent spent much time and money for string experiments, but with my last restring of my Ernieball Stingray5 I noticed how dramatically the sound can change. Now I'm wondering how to get this funky sound Victor Wooten gets out of his Fondera. There is a hint on his page to Victor Wooten Strings, but I dont believe he actually uses them, or does he?

: Can anyone tell me what strings to use to come at least close to that kind of sound?

: Thanks!

Go to the contact section on his site, you can email his equipment guy Anthony, he's cool, he responded to a question I had a while back. His sound is a lot more than his bass or strings however. -B
