Why are you in this band? For the money, record contract, professional advancement, or fun?
If the answer to all of the above is no, then the solution is obvious - MOVE ON TO A BETTER GIG.
I have encountered a real attitude in my travels in bands, especially among insecure singers and guitar players, that the rhythm section (bass and drum) are lesser-skilled and lesser-important musicians who are there to support whatever crap they care to inflict in the name of music. The object is to make music TOGETHER as a team. Otherwise, you are not in a band, and if they are going to treat you like that, they can pay you by the hour.
On the other hand, if you are a sideman or work sessions, you are pretty much paid to sit there and do what they want. Act like you like it if they pay you more. Show up on time, have the right gear, keep your mouth shut, smile a lot, don't scuff up and remember - they are paying the bills.
