: anyone have any transcriptions or tabs or anything having to do with tom? it'll be grately appreciated.

Hey there. I'm a big Tom Waits fan myself. I have not seen any transcribed bass parts out there, but there are a couple of books available that chart out the chords, melodies, piano and guitar parts, etc. Since his main bass players--Larry Taylor, Greg Cohen, and even Les Claypool on a couple of tunes--tend to play pretty simple stuff with Tom, I'll bet you could figure out the bass lines with a combination of the books and listening to the recordings. Both the books are anthology style--one covers the early years and the other is called Beautiful Maladies and covers the noisier Island Records stuff. I think you can also get some basic chord charts on the internet. Hope this helps. Good luck.
