Played "Freebird", "Coming home" and ofcourse "Sweet home Alabama" when the band made an unscheduled In Memorium for him.
Great player, great band.
: I just read that Leon Wilkeson the Bass player for Lynyrd Skynyrd passed away last night, he was only 49.
: Wilkeson has to be one of the most underated bass players in all of rock and roll. He was a big influence on my own bass playing and always amazed me with the clear and harmonic bass lines he could make cut through the three guitar mayham that was Lynyrd Skynyrd.
: I've seen them play about 5 times and was never disappointed.
: So if you out there playing tonight, play a Skynyrd song for Leon.
