If that is the Mesa Boogie with all tube it is the real deal...and as a matter of fact if you want to sell it I would be very interested....as with all settings really depends on the type of tone you are after and what guitar you are playing.......sorry that if I am not being specific but I have found no matter what amp I am playing, given a few minutes to adjust one the settings I can get some very pleasing tones....good luck and remember the learning is half the fun...livingstone
