well, the funny thing is about music stops, my band and I went in this summer, asked about renting recording gear, they had a Digital eight, said that we could rent it. We went in later and it had been permanently stock tranferred down to Halifax from Moncton. We had to pay the shipping costs to get it back up here on top of the rental price. wheeee! what fun.

As for bass gear, believe me, I know what you're going through in that case. The Moncton one has a pretty good Bass to guitar ratio. Mention a bass and they'll be all over it and ask if you want them to order it in. They say there's some Corts down there which may be pretty nice. Better get to them before I do, kay?

But seriously, maybe it'd be a good idea to put a little more money together and get something more worth your while. In that price range, whatever you'd buy would end up being replaced in another little while with something still better. Get what you like but make sure you don't have to drop another Eight or nine hundred dollars a couple of years later.
