: Of course, we all knew that Danny wasn't *really* playing (couldn't play a note to save his life), but given how much emphasis was put on him on "The Partridge Family", how cool the character was (Keith was a wuss by comparison), and how *visible* the bass was in the band, did Danny Partridge make a difference in anyone's decision to take up bass?
: Anyone want to admit to it? (not that I'm copping to it, mind you...)
: Hey, after all that "Fieldy" crap... ;-)
Skip, are you nuts? Danny partridge was better that James Jamerson, Jaco and Stanley Clarke put together! Why he was so good...
GOTCHA! HA HA! Seriously, there was no one on T.V. in the 70s that I wanted to push down a flight of stairs more than Danny Partridge. I hated him for two reasons: #1. Because I wanted that Ovation bass he didn't play, and #2. I wanted to get close to Susan Dey! AAAAAHHHH! She was so hot! I couldn't stand that little red-headed S.O.B.! O.K., Ive calmed down now. Everyone forgive me for ranting. I'll be a good boy now.(big grin)
