O.k. thanks to all who answered my previous post about power amps. I am
leaning towards a DCM 600, and have a question or two. I will be using this to run a demeter preamp, into a bag end 15" cabinet rated at 300 watts at 8 ohms..
The specs on this power amp are 125 watts at 8 ohms stereo, and 450 watts at 8 ohms bridged...
1) bridging simply means combining both channels for one output correct?
2) the rep at carvin said something about using this amp bridged may not be a good idea due to sound degradation, or something to that effect...
what am i missing here, is there any reason not to use this particular amp to run the rig i talked about above?
