: If you didn't already know, here's something you might want to try out.
: Always plug your cable in the same way round. Make sure the same end goes to your amp and the same end goes to your bass. Eventually, the cable will change slightly and will carry the signal better. I just found out the other day and i'm trying it out on my cable, i'm still waiting for results.
: Plus, i've always wondered what the initials of the Black Sabbath song "N.I.B." stood for. Most people believe that it is Nativity In Black. However, the title refers to the bassist's beard. Geezer Butler had a beard shaped like the nib of a fountain pen, hence the name N.I.B.
: Sabbath rocked ('till Ozzy left)
: Recently i've not had a lot of time to myself. I've had a ton of important exams to do at school and all of my free time has been spent revising. Sadly school work is more important then bass and I haven't played in just over two weeks. Thank God the exams are nearly over, just three more and then i'm shutting myself in my bedroom and i'm not coming out until my fingers are bleeding from excessive playing.
: One more thing. I'm seriously thinking about buying a Tanglewood Curbow 5 string. I've played it and it sounds good to me, a decent b string too. Does anybody have any opinions about this bass or reasons for me not to buy it?
There's only two reasons why you shouldn't but that (or any other) bass:
1. It sucks and YOU don't like it.
2. You can't afford it.
Other than that, go for it!
