If you are into books, these might help:
"Hip Hop Bass" comes with tab and CD as well as music and helps get that space thing and off-beat accents. Fairly easy, a good starter.
Rocco Prestia's Instructional video (has music and tab) - a must have.
If you read music, the following are very highly highly recommended:
Jaco Pastorius - Electric Bass Method (my of my big influences)
Dr. Licks - In the Shadow of Motown - A fantastic set of transciptions of James Jamerson's work (I got this book about 7 years ago and spent the next 6 months getting this book down pat and really honed my reading skills as well. For advanced players.
: HEY!! can you guys give me some tips on how to get more funky? I feel like my bass lines are starting to all sound the same and i would like some pointers on how to keep a good funky groove! Thank you for you help! the BREWMIESTER
: P.S. Does the BP200 by digitec have a good wah wah and a synth bass simulator??
