: Does Anyone know where you can get nirtocellulose laquer from in england

: because stewmac wont ship it to me because of the flammable thing...

: Or is there something else I can use instead....

Get a copy of Hemmings Motor news it is a statside publication, in it they have a few people who sell "nitro cell"mail order... why Nitro cell? it is pretty soft you would do a lot better with acrilyc lacquer..easier to work, gets harder, lasts longer, tastes better (hahahaha) Seriously if you are up to painting your bass they should have lots of places to get it in GB. It is what you paint old cars with, go to a couple of restorers shops. In GB you guys have a product called "acid cure polyurethane" sounds toxic and probably is but you can brush it on and it gets pretty hard.
