: I just bought a SansAmp bassdriver/DI.
: The thing ROCKS!! I play a PBass and always felt that the sound was okay, but missing something that my old spector had. it was the pumpin' growl that everybody loves to hear.
: With this new driver, I get the balls of the Pbass without losing some of the frequencies that fender basses lack.
: Best $170 I've ever spent. If you're looking to fill a room with some sweet bass, buy one.

I AGREE!!! I have a G&L SB1 (P Bass) and play out of a Peavy Combo 115 with a 210 TVX and it sounds good. I am pleased that Peavy has come a long way with bass amplification. But, when using the SansAmp DI WOW!!! What an increase in dynamics and overall sound. Sounds like a 2k $$ Hartke sytem or somthing similiar. I also use it just as a preamp direct input strait into a PA system and it sounds almost as good. Makes me wonder if I should sell the Peavy stuff.
