uh, Fred, you're post is somewhat incoherent, but I'll respond anyway.

FYI, this site will continue running until I expire. I hope that will be many decades from now.

Good luck with Stewart Basses.

: Hello Bassists,
: Since most players are at "The Dude Pit" I wonder if this site will be here much longer? But...the objective in this little blurb is to outline something important. Your experiences with tone and bass design is number one...not what periodicals say. It appears that the buzz is framed on the opinions of the "reviews." In fact that is the entire reference and boundry "First Hand." The best thing is communication among players, which the "Dude Pit" accomplishes, yet do you realize that they are loading cookies on your computer, collecting personal information, and selling your data? This is a market cattle drive like most perodicals and it's invassive. If you value your ideas, preferences, words, or space, it's not the best place to spill your guts out.
: I think the American spirit is more than being one of the herd and that personal experiences are worth more than anything a periodical can say. Trust your fellow players, the first hand evaluations are the most powerful. Bassist are an intelligent American resource and always did have excellent ears!
