Walter Woods makes the finest bass amplifiers in the world. I've owned an M-100-8 for about 10 years and it has never failed me. The sound is incredible. I run my German acoustic bass through it most of the time and occasionally a Fender P bass. It has a channel for electric bass and a channel for acoustic or fretless bass. You can definitely tell the difference. I use an Electro Voice Sx 100+ which has a 12" speaker and a horn. It's awesome and light weight. You can't go wrong with a Walter Woods amplifier matched with an EV speaker. I spoke to Walter shortly after purchasing the amp and he told me his amps are best matched with either EV or Bose speakers. Buy it now. Don
