: Hi.
: I am a bassplayer, and I was born and raise in Hungary, Budapest.
: I know that if you take that 4000-7000 $ in there, you are gonna come back to the US with a nice masterbase, which you will not be able to afford here in the US.
: I suggest you buy an airplane ticket, and go there.
: When you get there, make sure you get your money's worth though...(make sure you don't get ripped off)

: Good luck..!

thanks, but I think I won't fly, I'll just drive my car take a bus or plane, because I live in Paris, France !

I've talked with a hungarian bass player I know, Balazs Horvatz ( spelling ?)
and he was telling me that the main problem was that the luthiers in Budapest don't really sell basses, they just make or repair them most of the time.

are there any exceptions ?

thanks
