Precursor to rock and roll (or early rock and roll if you prefer). 1950's stuff with small drum kit, double bass (often slapped), guitar, occasionally sax. You must grease your hair into a duck tail to properly play this form. Vintage bowling shirt also helps. The Stray Cats played rockabilly.
