: hello all.

: i have been playing electric bass for a few years and i just made the switch over to acoustic.. just for my own purposes does anyone know the ratio of fret sizes, electric:acoustic??
i have a 3/4.

: p.s. what jazz standards do you suggest i learn? there are so many i dont know where to start!!

RE: If you really feel you need it, Lemur Music sells a full size poster chart depicting all the notes on the fingerboard, but I suggest that you use your ears and learn where the notes are yourself. There is no "quick fix" and what you know from playing toybass will help you very little playing the real thing.
As for standards, start with the blues and tunes with basic ii7 V7 I progressions, like Satin Doll, all of me,Just Friends, and check out the Aebersold catalogue for more.
