: Hey,

: I wanted to put a new endpin on my king mortitone bass, but where the endpin goes in, it's like blocked off, what i have noticed is there is a white plastic piece, kida in a round straw size type thing, but theres no screw, and no hole for one, basically theres no place to put it, what can i do to fix this, so i can use one, i'm a little too tall for the height it is at right now.. so, help would be appreciated, thanks,

Well, you can do it quick, or you can do it right. The quick way is to cut a 1 to 1/2 inch dowel rod (broom handle is good) cut it to your height and shave the end down enough to stick in the hole and put a rubber stopper on the other end, so it won't slide. The right way is to buy a new endpin plug with rod for $20 (from lemur music) and ream out the plastic piece and stick the plug in.
