: : Hey,

: : I wanted to put a new endpin on my king mortitone bass, but where the endpin goes in, it's like blocked off, what i have noticed is there is a white plastic piece, kida in a round straw size type thing, but theres no screw, and no hole for one, basically theres no place to put it, what can i do to fix this, so i can use one, i'm a little too tall for the height it is at right now.. so, help would be appreciated, thanks,

: Well, you can do it quick, or you can do it right. The quick way is to cut a 1 to 1/2 inch dowel rod (broom handle is good) cut it to your height and shave the end down enough to stick in the hole and put a rubber stopper on the other end, so it won't slide. The right way is to buy a new endpin plug with rod for $20 (from lemur music) and ream out the plastic piece and stick the plug in.

thanks but how do i ream it?
