Okay, if you have to ask, then you don't have the tools, you need a reamer

in the diameter of the hole you are making. They come in many different sizes you can get them at most any wood shop or hardware store or from stew-mac (www.stewmac.com.) It looks like a cone with teeth on in. You drill a pilot hole where you want the endpin plug to go, and then make the hole bigger with the reamer, then smooth it out by sanding it down, then just stick the plug in, which should fit snugly in the hole. If you've never done this before, this may be too big a project for you, and you may want to take it to a repair shop.
