THe most important thing is your time and swing. It's like Louis Armstong and Sonny Rollins, the most important thing is the rhythm, the notes are only colorations of the rhythms you play. For now, dont over analyze your playing, just try not to be too busy or too dissonant, play within the context of what the other band members are playing.
