I an just beginning to learn the bass, and just bought a used bass from a
private party. He had rc'd the bass to settle a debt, and didn't know
anything about it. It turns out to be left-handed, and has a beveled
fingerboard (from what I've read on a previous thread.) Since it is left
handed, the bevel is opposite of what one would expect. I would guess I
need to change the fingerboard. Is that correct, or is there something else
that can be done? Can it be sanded down? Also, what does it typically cost
to change a fingerboard? Outrageous or moderate? Any advice would be greatly
