I have an s1 that I love. It was set up real nice from the get go and my teacher says it has great tone (although on the bright side). However, this is a replacement s1, my first s1 had a nasty crack in the neck and a small blemish on the fingerboard.

It seems to be well made with very sturdy construction although the hard enamel type of finish seems to come off pretty easily (on the edges) where it hits walls and doorways etc.

It also stays in tune pretty well even though it is still going through its "settling in" period.

I did have one of my strings break for no apparent reason, there may be a sharp edge on one of the tuners or something. The strings I got with my second one are much better than the first one. I am not sure what they are, but they have purple windings on each end?
