: : I'm looking for feedback on Oliv or Eudoxa strings. I am looking for a very low tension E and A. Any thoughts?? I have tried Thomastik, Dominant, Tololoche, Goetz wound and Goetz plain gut.

: I play oliv for jazz and orchestral stuff. pizz-sound is very old fashioned,
: but i like it!! i played eudoxa for a while, pizz has more sustain, comparable
: with a steelstring, arco is not very comfortable, and i had some problems with
: broken g-string.
: Very low tension string is Velvet, i have a set used Velvet Anima wound gut
: for you, played 2 months

: best regards: Chris

To Chris
You mentioned Velvet strings. Do they have a smooth or roundwound surface? Do they have a lower tension than Oliv or Eudoxa?
