: : : I'm looking for feedback on Oliv or Eudoxa strings. I am looking for a very low tension E and A. Any thoughts?? I have tried Thomastik, Dominant, Tololoche, Goetz wound and Goetz plain gut.

: :

: : I play oliv for jazz and orchestral stuff. pizz-sound is very old fashioned,

: : but i like it!! i played eudoxa for a while, pizz has more sustain, comparable

: : with a steelstring, arco is not very comfortable, and i had some problems with

: : broken g-string.

: : Very low tension string is Velvet, i have a set used Velvet Anima wound gut

: : for you, played 2 months

: : best regards: Chris

: To Chris

: You mentioned Velvet strings. Do they have a smooth or roundwound surface? Do they have a lower tension than Oliv or Eudoxa?

: Regards Soeren

Velvet has a lower tension than any other strings!!
