: : : I'm looking for feedback on Oliv or Eudoxa strings. I am looking for a very low tension E and A. Any thoughts?? I have tried Thomastik, Dominant, Tololoche, Goetz wound and Goetz plain gut.
: : What kind of music do you play?
: I play, blues, rockabilly (I slap alot), folk, pop, country, some jazz, and just about everything else. the slapping is the thing that throws it, I like LOW tesion strings for that. i have gut d and g which are great, but i need an e and a that will fit in.
Maybe LaBella Supernils?
They're nylon strings, very low tension, and used by many bluegrass players.
G and D round nylon over nylon, and E and A round wire over nylon.
They're also inexpensive. About US$50 for a set at Quinn Violins. (www.quinnviolins.com)
