: or get some info on some good places to see some jazz.
: Any recomendations on food, music, sights to see or what-not will also
: be greatly apreciated.
: Thanks Ari

I don't live in Scotland but I know a few people who do . First of all try phoning (or e-mail) Stuart at Overwater Basses , Carlisle - they make their own brand of high quality ( if there is such a thing ) bass guitars there but Stuart plays upright - in fact he's just recently got a very nice Musima . Overwater are the U.K importers of Acoustic Image amps and ,as such, know most of the U.K bassists - that's where I got my amps from . They're a friendly crew there and should be able to help you better than anyone I know , their phone number is :-
(U.K) 01228 - 590591
Someone else who may be able to help you are the crew at
"Tuff Stuff" - they make heavy duty padded cordura amp covers.Their address is Tuff Stuff,30 George Terrace,Balfron,Glasgow. G63 0PL
and their phone numger is :-
(U.K) 01360 - 449057
Whoever you phone tell them that I put you onto them and they should be able to help you somehow.
Hope this has been of some help,
