: Hello, I was wondering if anybody has bought these strings and what they think of them. Please include what type of bass you have, and what kind of music you play. Thanks

I too have tried the Rockabilly set but cannot agree I'm afraid - I found them to have FAR too little tension and so gave hardly any real tone at all.
I tried them on my '50's German ply bass and my recent Michael Glas carved bass - neither bass responded well to the set and I'm sorry to say that I would never recommend them to anyone. But that is just my opinion , someone out there will probably love them !
I reverted both of my basses to my hybrid set of Thomastik Dominant E & A and Rotosound Superb D & G and they both sound great again. The only reason I even tried the Rockabilly set was out of curiosity. Hope this is of some help.
Andy
