To remove rosin on strings and fingerboard (and the bow) you can use "Eau de Cologne", but take care : don't spill on the upper table as this "Eau de Cologne" may attack the varnish. To clean the hair of the bow (especially at the heel of the bow which can become black) , you can use a piece of ...sugar! For cleaning the upper table (and rest of the bass) , there exist a product licensed by Hill and Sons (London) ideal for cleaning the bass and to remove rosin. It should be available in a music store, cost is about +/- 10 $ for a bottle. Use the same cleaning cloth as you would use to maintain wooden furniture.
