: OK, I really like the sound of the Martin B1 and the Tacoma CB10. They both sound very nice with a deep, powerful acoustics. However, the CB10 body is way too big and is very uncomfortable to play. Maybe if I had longer arms, fingers and torso it would be OK. On the other hand the B1 doesn't have a cutaway for getting at the higher frets, which I use quite a bit. Anyone have any suggestions for a model that has a rich, deep tone, a comfortable body, and a cutaway for getting to the high notes? Electronics aren't important.

: Thanks again,

Chris,

You probably aren't getting good results because the players here are Upright bassists. You might have better luck posting on the bass guitar side of the forums on www.talkbass.com
