: : I currently am playing steel strings on my upright and would like something a little easier on the fingers as I play Bluegrass music.
: : The LaBella Deep Talking Bass Strings are presently what I am considering
: : going to next which looks like they would be alot easier on the fingers.
: : Has anyone used these strings or currently using them and if so would you please share your thoughts on this certain brand of strings.
I've never used this brand of string but I have just returned from the Pagosa Springs Folk Festival in CO where I heard Kenny Pabst playing with the band High Plains Tradition. He uses the LaBella tapewounds on his bass and it sounded mighty good. Excellent projection and even tone throughout the range of his bass.
