: Cool, tell us about it. How's it look, sound, etc. What are you going to be playing on it?

The Wilfer pickups was not included.
The sound is "wet" compared to an really old bass, but it's really loud compared to my only reference-which is plywood basses. I'm going to play jazz on it. The first project is a mid tempo latin record session in medio November, so after work I try to put in some practice. Fortunately the composer have mailed me the tunes in midi format so I can practice efficient.

My bass experience is electric fretted & fretless, but with the fretless I think that one will either be walking in Jaco's footsteps or trying to get the electric to sound like an acoustic. I have not testet any EUB's (like the new Steinberger) but everything I have heard (as a sound engineer) have been kind of Miroslav Vitous'ish I have received good advice from Bob, and a K&K Pro Bass System for my new bass is on its way from him to me here in Norway. I intent to put it through my POD line 6 (guitar) and try to model a small combo. I'm shure it will be fine for the studio combined with a microphone, but I will have to do some testing for live work.
