: Looking for information & some idea of the value of my aunt's circa 1900 CARLO ROBELLI violin.

Dear Mr. Bender:

The name Carlo Robelli was created by my father, Sam Ash, in the late 1920ís. Through the years he used it on many different models he imported, mostly from Germany. In those days, dates on labels didnít always reflect the actual date of manufacture. The Robellis' were factory made, moderately priced and always excellent values. If you are anywhere near Long Island you might visit our office for my brother Jerry or me to give you an approximate current value. Paul J. Ash, Sam Ash Music, 516-932-6400.
