: Anybody know where to find transcriptions of great walking?
Yes. On the recordings.
"The only one that learns from transcriptions is the guy that writes them out!" -John Clayton
Trust me, it's not the other way around. Go get your favorite recording of something with great bass lines that's recorded reasonably well, hopefully with guys like early Ron Carter, PC, Israel Crosby, or Ray Brown (or John Clayton; he was the first guy I transcribed 20 years ago. I loved his lines, time, sound...).
Struggle with every note if you have to, but it will stick a lot better than just reading a book that some other guy wrote out (and never should have published, it's a diservice to students). Once you get it up to tempo, play with the recording as close to what they played on the record as possible. In a few months your gig calender will fill up...
