: : I've been playing electric bass guitar for over a year and I'm interested in getting and upright because I love the sound and want to be able to bow like I used to do on cello, I was hoping someone could give me some tips on where to find cheap and easy to play electric uprights or acoustics, it doesn't really matter which but I'd rather have something that doesn't need extra pickups to be amped, and double basses are just really cumbersome and difficult to move around and they don't stay in place while you're playing them, from what experience I've had playing other peoples'. Also does anybody make standup basses with fretlines or markings to help stay in tone?

: azola bug bass is the way i would go.compact and easy to haul around.decent sound. go to check it out. i have a bug bass my self and i am happy with it.

: I have a bug bass II for sale, and it has position markers.
