: I have had about 3 sets of a synthetic string made in Polannd in the 80's called
: Presto. Does anyone know how I can get more?

This came from the 2xBass message-area...

You might check with www.uptonbass.com, since that's where the post came from.

Years ago they were called "Presto", but will be marketed now as "EUROSONIC"

They were used many years ago by the bassist for Louis Armstrong's Jazz
Orchestra and developed an almost cult like following for many years.

The string has a stainless steel core with an synthetic flat-wound wrap.
