Take a look at this mIc The Beta 56 can be adjusted to piont at the soundboard while wedged into the tailpiece should help with feedback.

: I've seen fellas use vocal microphones wedged in behind the tailpiece. How well does that work and if I try it, should I use omni or uni-directional? Would the Shure 58 produce feedback if monitors are used? I'm in a bluegrass band which has outgrown the single mic show. We're going to have to mic up across the stage now and I'd rather not have to get a pickup for my Kay. I appreciate anyone's feedback. Michael
